From a generation away...

From a  gen e ra tion away You too struggle with techs all new, You too strive for hailing strong___ You too want to be 'tagged in memories', From those albums kept since long. You too delve in dilemma of pleasures___ "Put the 'filters' or increase the hue?"  You too ponder to share those 'stories', Not in 'Insta', but to a few. You keep journals in your mind, labelling timings of household maids__ You still pump the clock of alarm, While I 'snooze' it in customary ways. You are seen fumbling__ 'notifications' many, rushing past your overflowing dropdown 'stack'__ But you are aware of the tiniest of things, from the kitchen to stationary rack. Your phone often flashes the spark of 'brightness', While mine resort to the 'darkest modes'__ I keep rolling 'YouTube' contents, But, you pour tales of struggling roads. You might confuse the difference of requests, whom to 'Confirm',Whom to 'Ad...

A tree that housed a lot of memories...

OUR WOOD APPLE TALE There's a thorny being  in my territory, Stood it tall, all childhood days__ Sometimes naked but at time bushy, Showed it beauty in manifold ways___ Hearing stories of ghosts and taboos, My younger heart will quiver hard__ But it stood smiling,gayfully-jolly, Bearing fruits and chirping birds__ Grandpa would often ponder tales Saying he'd sit and watch along__ While he leaves this mortal world, I got to be bold and utterly strong___ I travelled past adolescence, I grew adult, But still kept believing his stories et all___ Thought the tree is epitome of grandpa, Be I old or be I small. But alas, the curse of civilised world, Alas! it's cut and Alas! it's gone___  The lastest memory of my childhood fairy, The lastest memory of being strong. Sorry   I couldnot stop the mishap, Sorry I know "Sorry" isn't enough___ You might've bleed and wept for help, You might've known that living 's tough. Tell my grandpa ,O' sweet little ...
