Grey thoughts, are a picture of our dilemma before & after taking decisions in life

 

Grey Thoughts  


                        Does it not seem sometimes,
                     What if I took the other chyme?
                   What if I took the other way?
                Would it lead to similar bay?
            Would it not been wise or kind
          Or would it be out of mind?
        What if I still belonged there
      What if I never settled here?
     Was it wrong or is it right?
    Was it all a worthy fight?
    Why are decisions never fair?
    Right or wrong a faded layer___
     Why it's always grueling grey?
      Why it's not white, as it may?
         Why would I have doubts through?
           Can't it be a clear true?
             Why the grass seemed  greener more
               After I left-past the roaring shore?
                 Why I feel not what I may?
                   Will I have to leave or stay.

From a  gen e ra tion away You too struggle with techs all new, You too strive for hailing strong___ You too want to be 'tagged in memories', From those albums kept since long. You too delve in dilemma of pleasures___ "Put the 'filters' or increase the hue?"  You too ponder to share those 'stories', Not in 'Insta', but to a few. You keep journals in your mind, labelling timings of household maids__ You still pump the clock of alarm, While I 'snooze' it in customary ways. You are seen fumbling__ 'notifications' many, rushing past your overflowing dropdown 'stack'__ But you are aware of the tiniest of things, from the kitchen to stationary rack. Your phone often flashes the spark of 'brightness', While mine resort to the 'darkest modes'__ I keep rolling 'YouTube' contents, But, you pour tales of struggling roads.
